Sandra Reeves - Management Partner

Sandra Reeves is the Management Partner at Thurleigh Road. She has worked in NHS management since 1992. She was a business manager at Kings College Hospital in Pathology and then Paediatrics before joining the Thurleigh Road Practice in 1996 as Practice Manager. During her time at the practice, Sandra has completed an MSc in Health Service Management and has successfully led the practice to achieve Investors in People status. Sandra manages all non-clinical aspects of the practice with particular involvement in staff, business and financial management. She is married with three daughters. She became a partner at the practice in 2006.



Shushma Leidig - Practice Manager

Shushma has over 25 years of General Practice management experience as a Practice Manager, with excellent communication and organisational skills to lead our Admin & Reception team.  She has AMSPAR in Practice Mangement and BA (Hons) in Business qualifications. Shushma provides support in facilities managment and liaising with external contractors. She also supports Felicity and works alongside with Sandra and looks after human resources (HR). 

Administration Team


Ana  - Operations Manager

Ana plays a critical role in supporting the operational side of the practice, Key responsibilities include: managing the clincal rota, running health campaigns, coordinating NHS England and CCG healthcare initiatives and providing training and support for the team.


Olivia  - Patient Services Administrator

Olivia job shares this important post with Faye and Ameer. They deal with all referral queries and help co-ordinate the Choose and Book system. They are the main liaison between Thurleigh Road and our local hospitals.


Faye  - Medical Assistant (Admin)

Faye job shares this important post with Olivia and Ameer. They deal with all referral queries and help co-ordinate the Choose and Book system. They are the main liaison between Thurleigh Road and our local hospitals.


Ameer  - Medical Assistant (Admin)

Responsible for Prescriptions and related queries, ensuring other admin work is in order i.e. responding to emails from patients, chasing results and he also supports Olivia and Faye with referral management.


Eva  - Finance Administrator 

Works in close partnership with Management Partner, Sandra Reeves, looking after both our NHS and Private practice accounts. She is currently studying for her Association of Chartered Credited Accountants (ACCA) accreditation. Ordering and Supplies are dealt with by her. All queries regarding invoices should be directed to Eva.


David  - IT Support Officer 

Works with the management team in ensuring our IT systems work smoothly, providing data to streamline our services to patients, and troubleshooting the many and varied problems that arise with IT.


Emile  Registrations Administrator 

Responsible for patient registrations and the maintenance of an accurate patient population. He works closely with the Primary Care Support Services to ensure that our registered patients live within our catchment area and sorts out any demographic differences in details held by the Health Authority and the Practice.


Maxine  - Administrator

Maxine's main task is scanning of clinical letters into patient records.  She also organises the weekly clinical meeting for clinical staff, and deals with all incoming and outgoing mail.  She handles requests from Solicitors for patient notes. Maxine also helps cover Reception at busy times and for meetings.


The receptionist team are here to help you make appointments and request home visits, to pass on messages to doctors, nurses and staff, deal with prescription requests and answer general, but not medical queries.


Felicity  - Reception Team Leader

Felicity leads the reception team who directly or indirectly provide patient care. She ensures smooth running of the reception. She motivates and inspires the reception team, creating the energy and enthusiasm for the service and promoting good staff relations.  She also assist the receptionists in their performance of a variety of administrative duties.

She deals with face-to-face complaints.


Keira - Senior Receptionist

Keira works alongside with Felicity.  Her responsibilities are to provide reception/administrative support to the team. Her duties include all aspects of reception work along with the day-to-day administration tasks that come with working in our busy Practice.
