Tor Godfrey (Partner)

Qualified at Middlesex Hospital in 1989

Tor is married with 3 children and lives locally. Once qualified she specialised in oncology and haematology working at the Middlesex, Barts and the London hospital in various capacities within haematology and oncology.  She then left nursing and completed a degree in Social Anthropology.  Since then she has travelled extensively working  and teaching nursing in southern India.  On her return she worked with families and friends of drugs users within the London Prisons. 
She returned to nursing 14 years ago working in Primary Care and completed a Masters as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in 2013.


Jo Russel Fisher (Senior Practice Nurse)

Qualified at St. Thomas’ Hospital in 1977

Jo is married with six children, lives locally and has worked in general practice for 26 years. After qualifying, Jo worked in a busy oncology unit in Australia for over a year before returning to become ward Sister on the ENT and orthopaedic wards at St. Thomas’ in 1980. Jo was Sister in Charge at the opening of the Lister Hospital in 1985. Jo runs daily minor illness clinics at the Practice.


Sophia Mecia (Practice Nurse)

Qualified from University of Manchester 2014

Since then has worked in A&E/urgent assessment units in Manchester to then work in Australia for a year before joining general practice. Sophia has now been in general practice for over two years and joined Thurleigh Practice in 2018.

She has also done a 3 month elective/volunteering as a nurse in Tanzania. She now lives locally and has an interest in respiratory illnesses.


Jen Moses (Practice Nurse)

Qualified at Oxford Brookes University in 2012

Jen lives in South London with her husband and son. She studied modern languages at university before doing her nursing degree. On qualifying as a nurse she worked on a geriatric ward at the John Radcliffe Hospital and then began work in the community, first as a district nurse in Oxford and then in Streatham after relocating to London. She has worked as a practice nurse since 2016.
