Dr Rachel Knightly (Returns to TRP in November 17 following maternity leave) Qualified from Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in 2012. Originally from sunny Devon, Rachel trained in Cambridge and Cornwall before working at a malaria research centre in Thailand and starting her first medical jobs in Birmingham. She has a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health, thoroughly enjoyed a Masters in molecular genetics, and works with an Older Adult Psychiatry group discovering more about alcohol use in older adults. She moved to London in 2014 to join a church in Streatham, and enjoys teenage youth work, playing the piano and studying the Bible with her church family. She works part-time as a GP registrar at Thurleigh Road and part-time at St George’s University researching asthma. Interests: Old age psychiatry, sexual health and family planning |

Dr. Edward Robinson After qualifying from the University of Nottingham in 2013, he has worked in several different hospital placements in the East Midlands and South West London in various medical specialities. Dr Robinson has an interest in sport and exercise medicine and is currently undertaking a postgraduate masters course at UCL in this area. He has volunteered at the world athletics championship in 2017 and has more recently worked as the team doctor at Sutton United. He has joined Thurleigh Road Practice as a GP registrar in February 2018 and will be staying with us until July 2018. |
